Hope and Other Luxuries is a touching memoir recorded by a desperate mother during her daughter's battle with anorexia. Claire Dunkle is a famous author known for her fantastic fantasy worlds but this shows her life personally as she deals with her daughters and their struggles. This book is eye opening and insightful; it sheds light on a serious illness that isn't often talked about. This personal account will will affect you in ways you never knew you could be.
